This is actually not the biggest secret about affiliate marketing. The real secret is not much a secret at all but it is the biggest gap between you and success.
In the affiliate business the one thing that matters most is that you help people. It is very hard isnt’ it? That is mainly because when you first get into affiliate marketing you just want to make money the fastest and easiest way possible.
You never even think about helping people. So is that how you make money? Absolutely! This is a business and in a business you trade with others. You offer your visitors value. Then they will stick around and take the value that you give.
Then some will give to you by buying your affiliate product you are recommending. It really makes you second guess the whole process doesn’t it?
If you want to make money you must not hard sell but you must presell. Warm up the visitors mind by providing high quality content. High quality content is knowledge mixed with passion.
If you need some help then read magazines or better yet read articles on a successful website that is preselling and then advertising so they can get something out of it too. You will not make money unless you set up the scenario of a win-win situation.
That is what business is all about not just the affiliate marketing business.
