During a huge golf outing weekend at one of the golf courses our company oversees, they had 3 of their turf mowers stolen from their facility. We acted as quickly as possible knowing they only had a few hours of course maintenance before the golfing began. We found a reputable used turf equipment dealer in the area and purchased 3 units that were close to what they had stolen from them. We delivered the pre owned turf equipment on a trailer and they had all the greens and fairways mowed and ready to go before the tournament began. This taught us a valuable lesson and actually showed us the need for a new surface. Instead of only dealing in new turf equipment, we have started buying and selling used turf equipment. Just like a new car dealership normally sells new and used vehicles, we now carry a good selection of quality pre owned turf equipment for our customers. We sometimes buy and sell to customers that are many states away just because it can be hard to find good used turf equipment but we are able to do that with our trucks and trailers. We run equipment to them for an additional fee. Most of our customers will even buy a mix of new and used equipment but many are finding pleasure in the savings benefit of buying pre owned turf equipment. From a dealer, it has been serviced and looked over and is always in top running condition before it goes on the lot or online for sale.
